About us Our Achievements
History of this cafe 1994: Richard opens this restaurant, at 120 Victoria St. The interior has to be rebuilt, with the large grill, and overhead convector allowing us to make up to 500 breads a day. At first, Richard has just one chef-helper, plus two waiting staff. He’d make the rotis, then dash upstairs to help with the curries. The menu then was much more limited; we just did curries, breads, rending and noodle dishes. We offer the $5 Roti cheenai lunch, which is very popular soon’ Richard’s mother arrived from chennai. She helps introduces Varuval, Varuthakari, Laksa and Meegoreng. The menu has more depth, for different tastes. |



2005: Enter the Montana “Food and Wine Challenge”. We won the “Best Restaurant award in Wellington region” by consumers vote. We would like to thank all our loyal customers and we look forward to your continued support.
